While we provide a variety of volunteer opportunities, most roles are open to those 18 and older. Individuals who have participated in Rainbow Youth are asked to wait for 2 years after their graduation to volunteer in our group spaces, but are welcome to support with other events and activities.

Guest Creative – Guest artists during our Monday Maker’s Space Group

Guest Resource – Guest education / information during our Thursday Community Group
Group Support Volunteer – Support our team and youth during our group meetings
Quiet Space Volunteer – Help provide a sensory-considerate space during group meetings
Door Greeter – Welcome attendees at group and be the welcome face of Rainbow Youth!
Field Trip / Event Facilitator – Help facilitate community events or group Field Trips
Field Trip / Event Support Volunteer – Support during community events or group Field Trips
Event Tabling Support – Share about Rainbow Youth and guide activities during events like Pride in the Park or Health Fairs
Fundraising Outreach – Help raise money through donations and/or grant applications to support Rainbow Youth’s ever-growing needs
Social Media Marketing – Design, Develop, or Schedule social media posting to increase engagement and marketing on multiple platforms.
Meal / Snack Provision – Provide meals or snacks for group meetings, either homemade or store-bought (Homemade items require a Food Handler’s License)
Rainbow Youth Board Member (Adult & Youth) – Serve on the Rainbow Youth board to help our organization grow and thrive.
